Job summary

Breakthru in Dubbo is seeking a compassionate Disability Support Worker to help people with a disability live independently and engage with their community. You will support personal goals, facilitate activities, and build real connections in homes, workplaces, and local neighbourhoods.

The role offers a people-centred, flexible schedule with evening and weekend shifts; traineeship pathways may be available along with inclusive, values‑driven teamwork and opportunities for growth within Royal

About the role…

An exciting role exists for a passionate and empowering Disability Support Workers to join our growing Dubbo team. You will provide support for people with a disability to live independently and maintain their best possible social wellbeing. You will support our customers to achieve their personal goals and to live satisfying lives in our community. Being a customer‑centric role, you will work with a wide range of customers.

Please note: We are needing people with availability 3pm‑8pm Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Weekends 8am‑12pm or 4pm to 10pm. We also have 7am‑9am supports Monday‑ Friday available.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting our customers to achieve their goals

• Work within the principles of person‑centredpractice

About you…

As a people person, you pride yourself on exceptional customer service whilst ensuring customers achieve their goals and aspirations. You may be eligible to undertake this role as a Traineeship and get paid while you earn a nationally recognised qualification.

Essential Criteria:

• Criminal record check (essential or willing to obtain)
• Working with children’s check (essential or willing to obtain)
• NDIS Workers screening clearance (essential or willing to obtain)
