Job summary

Breakthru, part of the Royal Rehab Group, is seeking a casual team member to support clients in the Raymond Terrace area. You will assist with daily living, community access, meals, and personal care in partnership with a supportive team.

Immediate start available for flexible shifts in a values‑driven, inclusive workplace. You’ll work to promote independence and meaningful connections, with opportunities for career growth within a respected not-for-profit organisation.

Qualifications

• Criminal record check required or willing to obtain
• Working with children’s check required or willing to obtain
• NDIS Workers screening clearance required or willing to obtain

Responsibilities

• Accessing the community for shopping, appointments and day-to-day activities
• Participation in activities such as cooking, art, outdoor physical activities and excursions
• Engagement in social events
• Transportation assistance where required
• Meal preparation and other simple in-home supports
• Responsible for all aspects of personal care
• Providing goal focused supports for activities, programs and community supports
• In home supports
• Transport and travel
• Supports related to specific health needs
• Report writing including daily case notes
• Promoting independence, dignity and choice in a safe, structured, therapeutic environment

About The Role

We’re seeking a casual team member to join our wonderful Raymond Terrace team, someone who has open availability. With flexibility to adapt to the needs of the individuals we support.

Key Responsibilities

• Your role will go beyond daily care - you will be instrumental in promoting independence, dignity, and choice, while maintaining a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment
