Job summary

Breakthru in Cairns is seeking a casual team member to join our wonderful Cairns team, with open availability and flexible shift patterns across community-based support, homes, workplaces and local neighbourhoods.

Your role includes helping with shopping, appointments, activities, meals and transport, while meeting essential criteria: criminal history check, Working with children’s check and NDIS Workers screening clearance.

Qualifications

• Criminal record check – required or willing to obtain.
• Working with children’s check – required or willing to obtain.
• NDIS Workers screening clearance – required or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Accessing the community for shopping, appointments and day-to-day activities.
• Participation in a range of scheduled activities such as cooking, art, outdoor physical activities and excursions.
• Engagement in social events.
• Transportation assistance where required.
• Meal preparation and other simple in-home supports.

About The Role…
