Job summary

Help&I Pty Ltd in New South Wales is seeking a compassionate Disability Support Worker to provide high-quality, person-centred support to NDIS clients. FEMALE preferred and candidates must be willing to undertake 2-hour service shifts.

You will assist with daily living, personal care, transport, and community access, support clients at appointments and social activities, and plan outings. Flexible across weekdays, weekends and public holidays with on-call availability.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with excellent communication skills.
• Experience with manual handling/hoist and high-care support.
• Previous disability support worker or AIN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to NDIS clients.
• Assist with daily living, personal care, transport, and domestic tasks.
• Support clients at appointments and social activities.
• Plan and accompany clients on outings and activities.
• Work across weekdays, weekends and public holidays with on-call flexibility.
• Perform Disability Support Worker and AIN duties.

Requirements:

• Must be open to accepting 2-hour services.
• FEMALE preferred.
• Full Australian driver's license and own vehicle.
• Comprehensive car insurance.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain).
• Valid First Aid & CPR certificates.
• Working with Children Check (WWCC) (or willing to obtain).

What We're Looking For:

• Fluent English speaker with excellent communication skills.
• Experience with manual handling/hoist, high-care support, and challenging behaviours.
• Prior experience as a Disability Support Worker or AIN.
• Initiative to support clients in achieving their goals and building community connections.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Provide high-quality, person-centred support to NDIS clients.
• Assist with daily living, personal care, domestic tasks, transport, and community access.
• Support clients attending appointments and engaging in social activities.
• Plan and accompany clients on outings and activities.
• Work across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays (on-call flexibility required).
• Perform Disability Support Worker and Assistant in Nursing (AIN) duties.
