Job summary

Advantage Healthcare Support currently seeks a compassionate Disability Support Worker to provide person-centred assistance to a participant with complex needs in the Sutherland area. The role offers extra shifts to complement an existing schedule, focusing on independence, wellbeing and quality of life.

Required are a full Australian driver’s licence, insurance, WWCC, NDIS screening, First Aid & CPR, and the ability to work weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with excellent communication skills.
• Experience with manual handling and high-care support.
• Experience as Disability Support Worker or AIN preferred.
• Ability to work with challenging behaviours and complex needs.
• Willingness to support clients to achieve goals and community connections.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred support to NDIS clients.
• Assist with daily living, personal care, domestic tasks, transport and community access.
• Support clients at appointments and social activities.
• Plan and accompany clients on outings and activities.
• Work across weekdays, weekends and public holidays (on-call).
• Perform Disability Support Worker and AIN duties as required.
