Good Shepherd Lodge Ltd. in Mackay, Queensland is seeking compassionate Community Home Carers to help people stay safely in their own homes.

You will assist with daily living, mobility, meals, and social activities while following individual care plans and maintaining records. Ideal applicants have experience in home or aged care, current First Aid/CPR, a Police Check, a valid driver’s licence, and availability Monday to Friday.

Competenze

• Previous experience in home care, aged care or similar.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
• A current Police Check.
• A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
• Availability Monday to Friday.
• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent is desirable.
• Minimum of two COVID-19 vaccinations is preferred.

You’ll provide practical, personalised support that respects each client’s choices, dignity and independence. Your role will include:

• Assisting with personal care, including showering, dressing and grooming.
