Qualifications

• Experience in high-end restaurants or bars, with both à la carte and breakfast service.
• Proven ability to perform commis chef duties (mise en place, prep and basic cooking).
• Qualifications in Commercial Cookery III or IV preferred.
• Proactive and upbeat demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
• Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables; measure and mix ingredients.
• Cook food according to recipes and quality standards.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
• Maintain clean and organized work stations.
