The Shellharbour Club – Shellharbour Village NSW is seeking a Full-time Commis Chef to join our large kitchen brigade. You will assist across multiple outlets, cooking and preparing high-standard dishes while thriving in a fast-paced environment and a diverse shift pattern.

We value enthusiasm, willingness to learn, and experience in busy kitchens. You will work days, nights, split shifts and weekends, with opportunities for career progression and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced, high-volume venues.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Strong knowledge of WHS, Food Safety and hygiene practices.
• Availability for days, nights, weekends and split shifts.
• Knowledge of safe food handling and cleaning practices.
• Sound communication and interpersonal skills with a positive attitude.
• Good time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist kitchen brigade with smooth operations across outlets.
• Prepare and cook food to a high standard.
• Complete preparation lists in a timely manner.
• Ensure safe handling and storing of food items.
• Maintain clean and safe premises per Club policies.
• Comply with WHS standards.
