Job summary

Next Gen Health & Lifestyle Clubs in Adelaide are seeking a Commis Chef to join our team. The successful applicant will have a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role and be available to work 20 plus hours a week over a 7-day roster.

Reporting to the Head Chef, you will assist with daily kitchen operations, help uphold brand standards and food safety, and contribute to a positive, energetic team environment across our award-winning facilities.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality experience
• Excellent people skills
• Experience cooking breakfasts, lunches, dinners and functions
• Exceptional presentation skills and personal grooming standards
• A dynamic positive personality and strong team focus

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef with day-to-day kitchen operations
• Support design and execution of brand standards and food safety requirements
• Ensure compliance with operating budgets and food safety guidelines
• Collaborate with Head Chef on service, menus and staff coordination
