Job summary

Panthers Penrith is seeking a dedicated Commis Chef for Kelly’s Kitchen, part-time, to join a fast-paced, team-focused kitchen. You’ll prepare and present quality dishes, maintain safety standards, and contribute to a high-energy dining experience.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years post-apprenticeship experience as a Chef in a busy kitchen, a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, and a current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years post-apprenticeship experience as a Chef in a busy kitchen.
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.
• Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present quality dishes in a busy kitchen.
• Complete daily prep for your section in Kelly’s Kitchen.
• Use cooking equipment including grills, fryers and cold larder.
• Maintain a clean, organised kitchen throughout service.
• Check deliveries and store products safely per FIFO.
• Complete daily cleaning checklists to ensure safety.
