Ideal candidates have 2-3 years in a busy kitchen, a Commercial Cookery Trade Qualification, and strong communication skills. The role offers growth within a well-established hospitality venue and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience in a busy kitchen environment.
• Commercial Cookery Trade Qualification.
• Previous function catering experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good level of physical fitness for lifting and carrying.
• Able to work well under pressure.
• Positive attitude and teamwork.
• Passion and enthusiasm for delivering top-notch food service.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation, presentation and service to members and guests.
• Catering for functions and events.
• Stock management including stock takes and wastage recording.
• Accepting deliveries, checking stock and proper storage.
• Kitchen cleaning to keep area presentable and compliant.
• Adhering to FIFO and food safety standards.
