You will join a dynamic team, kitchen cleanliness maintained to HACCP standards, and participate in a rotating roster including weekends and evenings. This role offers growth within a global hospitality group and extensive employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Commercial Cookery qualification and 1-2 years of previous culinary experience.
• Understanding of HACCP and compliance with local food handling laws.
• Must hold a valid Safe Food Handling Certificate.
• Great communication – warm, welcoming and easy to talk to.
• Able to lift up to 23 kg and perform bending/kneeling as needed.
• Basic reading, writing and maths.
• Flexible to a rotating roster, including weekends, nights and public holidays.
• Eligible to work in Australia without restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present meals with attention to visual and taste quality.
• Take ownership of your workstation and manage supplies, equipment and waste.
• Maintain cleanliness to exceed local hygiene standards.
• Assist with washing up and other kitchen duties as needed.
• Participate in additional ad-hoc team duties as required.
