Job summary

Greenbank Services Club is seeking a motivated Commis Chef to support our catering team across two kitchens in a high-volume setting. You will assist Head and Senior Chefs, help prepare and present a diverse menu, maintain food safety and cleanliness, and contribute ideas to enhance our dining experiences for guests at award-winning venues.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent industry experience in high-volume fast-paced kitchen environments.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene procedures.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef and Senior Chefs with preparation, cooking and presentation across two kitchens.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
• Complete allocated kitchen tasks efficiently and to a high standard.
• Communicate clearly with team members and management.
• Participate in rotation of kitchen duties and responsibilities.
• Contribute ideas to develop and enhance menu offerings.
