Job summary

voco Gold Coast in Surfers Paradise invites a Part-Time Commis Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. You will support daily prep and service in a fast-paced hotel environment while learning from experienced chefs.

Prepare and present dishes to a high standard, maintain hygiene and safety, and contribute to a positive team atmosphere. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial kitchen, ideally in a hotel or similar.
• Genuine passion for food and hospitality.
• Ability to work well in a busy, supportive team.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in work.
• Reliable, organised and able to work under pressure.
• Roster flexibility including weekends, evenings, public holidays.
• Holds relevant cookery qualifications.

As our Commis Chef, you’ll support the Kitchen team across daily food preparation and service, helping us deliver consistently great dining experiences for our guests.
