Job summary

Hilton Surfers Paradise are seeking casual and full time Commis Chefs to join our team. In this role you will apply your creative flair and passion for food, performing through tasks such as supporting kitchen operations, maintaining a clean work environment and minimizing food waste.

You will work within a collaborative kitchen team to deliver high standards and a memorable guest dining experience at Hilton Surfers Paradise, with opportunities for training and career development.

Qualifications

• Previous Apprentice chef or Commis Chef experience
• Confident communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences
• Excellent planning, organising and time management skills
• Ability to work within a team

Responsibilities

• Working effectively within the Kitchen team to ensure high food standards and the delivery of an exceptional guest experience
• Managing and maintaining a clean working environment
• Ensuring the reduction of food wastage
• Assisting the team with general food preparation
• Ensuring correct handling and storage of all food products

What will you be doing?

Hilton Surfers Paradise are searching for casual and full time Commis Chefs to join our team! In your new role as Commis Chef, you will utilise your creative flair and passion for food and will be responsible for performing the following tasks;

Working effectively within the Kitchen team to ensure high food standards and the delivery of an exceptional guest experience

Managing and maintaining a clean working environment

Ensuring the reduction of food wastage

Assisting the team with general food preparation

Ensuring correct handling and storage of all food products

What are we looking for?
