Job summary

Hyatt Regency Sydney is seeking a dedicated Commis Chef to join our culinary team. You will help run the day-to-day operation of your allocated section, handling preparation, cooking, presentation and cleanliness to the highest standards.

This full-time role requires availability across a 7-day roster and working rights in Australia. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, works well in a team, and is committed to HACCP guidelines, safety and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Dedicated about creating memorable experiences through food and looking to develop career in the hospitality industry
• Ensure HACCP guidelines are strictly adhered to by following cleanliness and hygiene procedures
• An ability to thrive under pressure and work in a high paced environment
• Confident in both communication and listening skills
• Able to work in a team, as well as independently
• Have a positive and can do attitude, with a strong work ethic
• Reliable and punctual
