Job summary

The Hills Grammar School in Sydney’s Hills District NSW is seeking a Commercial Studies Teacher for a full-time role starting Term 1, 2027. You will develop students' understanding of contemporary business, economics, law and civic responsibility, fostering critical thinking and real-world application of knowledge.

The successful candidate will teach across Stages 5 and 6, plan and assess programs aligned with NESA, and collaborate to enhance outcomes while monitoring student wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Relevant teaching qualifications and NESA accreditation.
• Experience teaching Business Studies, Economics, and/ or Legal Studies in a secondary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the NSW curriculum and HSC requirements.
• A commitment to academic excellence and student-centred learning.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of children and young people.
