Job summary

The Hills Grammar School in Sydney's Hills District NSW is seeking an ECEC Diploma Educator (Permanent Full or Part-time) commencing Term 1, 2027. You will collaborate with staff to deliver high-quality Early Childhood Education and Care, foster strong relationships with children and families, and actively contribute to the ECEC curriculum within a supportive, child-safe environment.

Eligibility includes ACECQA recognised Diploma, current first aid and child-safety training, and a valid WWC.

Qualifications

• Hold ACECQA recognised Early Childhood Diploma.
• Current first aid certificate, plus asthma & anaphylaxis training.
• Have WWC (Working with Children Check).
• Strong understanding of EYLF V2.0 and NQF.

ECEC Diploma Educator | Permanent Full / or Part time | Commencing Term 1,2027

Responsibilities

Work collaboratively and professionally in a team to provide high-quality Early Childhood Education and Care

A commitment to work as a proactive and positive team member.

Develop positive relationships with children, families, educators and staff within the ECEC and Hills Grammar community.

Respond to the emotional needs of all children.

Create a stimulating, positive and engaging environment to foster and support the development of all children.

Actively contribute to the ECEC curriculum

Ability and willingness to implement the ECEC philosophy.

Understand and implement the centres policies and procedures.

Actively participate in the Assessment and Rating process in partnership with the leadership team and ECEC educators.

You will have:

Hold ACECQA recognised Early Childhood Diploma

Have completed relevant Child Protection and child safe training.

Hold a current first aid certificate, plus asthma & anaphylaxis training

Have a strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) V2.0 and National Quality Framework (NQF)

Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Have a commitment to excellence in Early Childhood.

Must Hold a valid WWC.
