Job summary

Smart Energy in Melbourne is seeking a Commercial Solar Sales Representative to build our commercial pipeline. You will visit businesses across metro Melbourne, engage with owners and decision-makers, and book qualified appointments for our Business Development Manager.

Face-to-face sales experience is a bonus, but we prioritise attitude. You’ll receive training, coaching and a clear path to becoming a Business Development Manager, with Monday-to-Friday work and an upfront focus on reducing

Qualifications

• A confident communicator who enjoys meeting people and building rapport.
• A proactive attitude, resilience and motivation to achieve targets.
• Face-to-face or Business to Business sales experience is advantageous.
• A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel across Melbourne.
• Monday to Friday availability and valid working rights in Australia.
• Full working rights in Australia - open to Working Holiday Visa holders

Responsibilities

• Visit businesses across metro Melbourne and start face-to-face conversations with owners and decision-makers.
• Identify potential commercial solar opportunities and qualify each business’s interest and suitability.
• Book qualified appointments for our Business Development Manager.
• Capture accurate contact details and useful information so every appointment has a strong handover.
• Report daily on activity, appointments and opportunities.
• Take part in morning meetings, training and coaching to keep improving your results.
