Job summary

Volvo Group Australia offers a Commercial Operations & Pricing Intern role designed for a current university student. You’ll work on real business projects, applying your studies to pricing, reporting and BI initiatives within a large global organisation.

You’ll gain hands-on experience using Excel and Power BI, analyse data, perform market research, and support commercial decision-making alongside Regional and Key Account Managers.

Qualifications

• Currently in second or third year of the specified degree.
• Strong analytical skills and an interest in working with data.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Power BI.
• Confident and thoughtful communicator.
• Curious, proactive and able to take initiative with guidance.
• Interested in commercial operations, pricing, reporting and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support projects across Commercial Operations.
• Assist with quarterly pricing processes and model checks.
• Improve reporting and data presentation using Excel and Power BI.
• Analyze data, identify anomalies and aid commercial decisions.
• Conduct market research and generate business insights.
• Collaborate with Regional and Key Account Managers to identify process improvements.
• Support pricing discussions and system-based queries.
• Coordinate with Business Control on provisioning requirements.
• Assist Fleet team with enterprise calculations.
• Learn sales systems and provide ad-hoc sales support.
• Participate in internship program activities and learning opportunities.
