Job summary

ACS Performance is seeking a proactive Management Accountant to support accurate financial reporting and insightful analysis across the business. You will contribute to month-end processes, budgeting, forecasting, and drive profitability improvements while collaborating with multiple departments.

The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication to explain financial information clearly.

Qualifications

• Minimum AAT qualification or finalist studying towards ACCA.
• Strong understanding of management accounting principles and month-end processes.
• Experience with P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting.
• Ability to analyse financial data and provide insights for decisions.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Manage key month-end activities: journals, reconciliations, P&L reporting, and financial commentary across multiple operating companies.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, KPI reports and financial analysis to support informed decisions.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities, including margin and profitability analysis.
• Review loss-making customers and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
• Support supplier invoice reconciliations and payment runs and provide ad hoc reporting to senior finance stakeholders.
