Job summary

Amida Limited in Sydney is seeking a Commercial Lead / Contracts Manager to lead the commercial function across projects, manage a small team, and provide contractual guidance to project teams.

You'll oversee disputes, contract administration, and reporting, with exposure to defence, remedial and construction sectors, handling projects up to the $50m–$75m range and annual workloads of $130m–$150m.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Contracts Management, Engineering or Construction Management.
• 7–15+ years in a similar commercial/contracts role.
• Strong understanding of project administration and controls.
• Knowledge of risks and limitations across legal agreements.
• Ability to work in a team and autonomously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the commercial function across projects.
• Provide contractual advice and resolve disputes.
• Oversee reporting and subcontract management processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet commercial requirements.
• Support project managers on compliance with management systems.
• Mentor 3–4 senior / contracts administrators and grads.
