Job summary

Ardent Capital Group, a Sydney commercial finance brokerage, is hiring a commercial finance broker. You will originate deals across property, business lending and development finance with high-quality leads and a strong deal pipeline.

Commission-only pay with OTE of $200k+; no base salary and no cap. You work under the Ardent Capital Group banner with your ABN, and brokers have earned six-figure+ first years.

Qualifications

• Three years writing commercial deals (not only residential).

Job description

Ardent Capital Group is a Sydney commercial finance brokerage, established 2016, with more than 1,000 loans settled and over $2B of finance closed for clients. We are hiring one commercial finance broker. High-quality leads come in consistently, with deal sizes from $50k to $10M+.

What you would write

• Commercial property finance: owner-occupier purchases, investment property, mixed use and SMSF structures
• Business lending: acquisitions, growth capital, partner buy-ins, overdrafts and working capital
• Construction and development finance
• Equipment and asset finance
• Urgent and bridging finance
• Commercial refinancing and debt consolidation

Who we are looking for

• At least three years writing commercial deals, not only residential, as a commercial finance broker or in a commercial BDM role, with credit and loan writing experience, ideally already accredited with lenders
• Mid-level: coachable, and willing to work our process
• A hunter: you go after the deal and you are driven to get it done
• Comfortable at pace, with several live deals at once
• Hungry, takes pride in the work, and keeps their ego in check

Pay

Commission only, OTE $200k+, as it is for every broker here. No base salary and no cap. You operate under the Ardent Capital Group banner with your own ABN. We have had brokers earn more than $150,000 + trail in their first year with us. That is not a guarantee.

Location and hours

Level 8, 171 Clarence St, Sydney NSW 2000. One to two days a week in the office, ideally Wednesday and Thursday when most of the team is in. Work from home the rest of the week.

Qualifications

No tertiary qualification or degree is required. You will need the Certificate IV and Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking to write loans under our licence.

At least three years writing commercial deals, not only residential, as a commercial finance broker or in a commercial BDM role, with credit and loan writing experience. Accreditation with lenders preferred. A mid-level role for someone coachable and willing to work our process. Certificate IV and Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking. No tertiary qualification or degree required.
