Job summary

Ardent Capital Group in Sydney is hiring a commercial mortgage broker to originate and manage deals across property finance, residential home loans and business lending. You will handle owner-occupier purchases, investment properties, and SMSF structures with access to high-quality leads and ongoing training.

The role offers commission-only earnings with uncapped upside and work-from-home flexibility, requiring three-plus years of experience, lender accreditation, and strong residential lending

Qualifications

• Three years writing commercial deals, not only residential, as a commercial finance broker or in a commercial BDM role, with credit and loan writing experience, plus strong residential experience, ideally already accredited with lenders.
• Mid-level: coachable, and willing to work our process. This is not a role where you learn commercial from the ground up.
• Self agency: you triage your own work and prioritise without being managed.
• Emotional intelligence: you read when a borrower wants contact and when they want space.
• Hungry, takes pride in the work, and keeps their ego in check.

Responsibilities

• Commercial property finance: owner-occupier purchases, investment property, mixed use and SMSF structures
• Residential home loans, written under Rateseeker, our sister brand
• Business lending: acquisitions, growth capital, partner buy-ins, overdrafts and working capital
• Construction and development finance
• Equipment and asset finance
• Refinancing and debt consolidation
