Job summary

Michael Page Australia is partnering with an ASX-listed tech business in Melbourne to recruit a Corporate Finance Analyst. You will support monthly management reporting, budgeting and executive packs, and collaborate across finance and non-finance teams to deliverInsightful commercial analysis.

The role offers clear career progression in a collaborative team, with 3 days in the office and 2 from home, and a salary of AUD 130,000–140,000 plus super, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualified (or close to completing).
• Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or related discipline.
• First-time or second-time movers encouraged; experience in business services/audit valued.
• Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting or performance analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills with large data sets, financial modelling & reporting.
• Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder engagement across the business.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving.
• Ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insights.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of monthly management reports and executive packs.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and planning across multiple business units.
• Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Partner with stakeholders across finance and non-finance teams for insights.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support initiatives and business cases.
• Perform variance analysis and provide commentary and recommendations.
• Utilise ERP systems to extract and validate financial data.
• Support month-end activities and ensure data integrity.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting processes.

• Support the preparation of monthly management reports, financial performance analysis and executive reporting packs
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and planning processes across multiple business units
• Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities and key business drivers
• Partner with stakeholders across finance and non-finance teams to provide commercial insights and decision support
• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions and business cases
• Perform variance analysis against budgets, forecasts and prior periods, providing commentary and recommendations
• Utilise ERP systems to extract, validate and analyse financial data
• Support month-end activities, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, helping streamline reporting processes and enhance financial visibility across the business
