Job summary

APAC Michael Page is looking for a finance professional to deliver monthly management reports, analyze performance, and provide executive insights. You will support budgeting and forecasting across multiple units, developing models and driving commercial decision support.

The role requires CA/CPA qualification (or near completion), strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems. Hybrid work arrangement and clear career progression are offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or related discipline.
• Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting or performance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of monthly management reports, financial performance analysis and executive reporting packs.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and planning processes across multiple business units.
• Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities and key business drivers.
• Partner with stakeholders across finance and non-finance teams to provide commercial insights and decision support.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions and business cases.
• Perform variance analysis against budgets, forecasts and prior periods, providing commentary and recommendations.
• Utilise ERP systems to extract, validate and analyse financial data.
• Support month-end activities, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, helping streamline reporting processes and enhance financial visibility across the business.

Profile

• CA or CPA qualified (or close to completing)

• Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting or performance analysis
• Advanced Excel skills with experience handling large data sets, financial modelling, and reporting
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to engage with stakeholders across the business
• Strong analytical mindset and approach to problem-solving tasks
• Understanding of how to translate financial data into meaningful business insights

Job Offer

• 3 days in office, 2 from home
• $130,000-$140,000 + Super, contingent on experience
