Intuitive Recruitment seeks a commercially minded and analytical Finance Analyst to join a growing finance team. You will partner with key stakeholders, deliver meaningful financial insights, and provide decision-support to drive strategic outcomes.

The role covers monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, budgeting and forecasting, regulatory reporting, and process improvements, with emphasis on IFRS compliance and data quality across ERP systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or related field.
CA/CPA/CFA qualification or in progress.
3–7 years in financial analysis, FP&A or finance business partnering.
Strong IFRS knowledge and expertise in budgeting/forecasting.

Responsibilities

Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and performance analysis.
Analyse results against budget/forecast and identify key drivers.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis & Business Performance

Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and performance analysis.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning

Support the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
Maintain and enhance financial models used for forecasting and business planning.
Monitor performance against key financial metrics and KPIs.
Assist in evaluating the financial impact of new products, projects, and strategic initiatives.

Regulatory & Financial Reporting

Support the preparation and review of regulatory and financial reporting requirements.
Assist in ensuring compliance with IFRS and industry reporting standards.
Contribute to the preparation of board papers, management reports, and regulatory submissions.
Provide analytical support for financial statement reviews and reporting deliverables.

Projects & Process Improvement

Partner with finance and business teams on strategic and regulatory projects.
Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, automation, and data quality.
Support system enhancements, reporting initiatives, and process optimisation activities.
Assist with the implementation of new reporting frameworks and financial controls.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
CA, CPA, or CFA qualification (or working towards completion) highly regarded.
3-7 years' experience in financial analysis, management reporting, FP&A, or finance business partnering within financial services or banking.
Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
Experience with reporting and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, Axiom
Strong data analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
