IDEX Consulting Ltd. in Perth is seeking an experienced Commercial Account Handler to manage a portfolio of higher-value commercial clients across Property, Liability, Fleet and Commercial Combined.

This role involves presenting risks to insurers, building strong insurer relationships, and collaborating with 2-3 Account Executives to support clients. You will handle renewals and cross-sell opportunities while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

What does your next move in commercial insurance look like? If you're an experienced Commercial Account Handler who wants to work with bigger risks, fewer clients and more meaningful relationships, this could be worth a conversation. An established insurance broker in Perth is growing its Commercial team and looking for someone to join them. This isn't a high-volume handling role. You'll manage a portfolio of higher-value commercial clients, working across a broad range of risks including Property, Liability, Fleet and Commercial Combined. You'll also work alongside a team of 2-3 Account Executives, rather than being tied to one person. That means plenty of support, shared knowledge and a team structure that works around the client rather than the individual.

What will you be doing?

• Managing a portfolio of commercial clients

• Preparing and presenting risks to insurers

• Building strong relationships with clients and insurer contacts

Who are they looking for?

Someone who already understands commercial broking and wants to build on that experience. You'll ideally have:

• Previous Commercial Account Handler experience

• Knowledge across a range of commercial insurance products

• Experience dealing with insurers and presenting risks to market

• Strong client and communication skills

• Excellent organisation and attention to detail

• Good understanding of FCA requirements

• Acturis experience would be a bonus
