Total Ventilation and Hygiene Services – Melbourne VIC is seeking a Collections Officer to manage a portfolio of customer accounts. You’ll allocate payments, reconcile accounts and follow up overdue debt with professionalism.

In this hands-on role, you’ll use Excel to analyse financial data, build relationships with Accounts Payable teams and resolve invoice queries. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in AR/collections and a proactive, detail‑driven mindset.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Accounts Receivable, Collections or Credit Control.
• Strong Excel capability and working with financial data.
• Confident in phone conversations about payments.

Got an eye for detail, a knack for Excel and the confidence to pick up the phone? We’re looking for a Collections Officer who knows how to keep accounts on track.

TVH is looking for an experienced Collections Officer to join our Finance team in Melbourne.

Working as part of a small, collaborative team, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of customer accounts. This is a hands‑on role where accuracy matters — from allocating payments and reconciling accounts to following up overdue debt and resolving invoice queries.

You’ll be trusted to manage your workload independently, while working closely with the team to deliver accurate and timely outcomes.

What you’ll be doing

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for someone who is comfortable getting into the detail and following things through.

• 3+ years’ experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections or Credit Control
• Strong Excel Capability — you’ll be comfortable working with spreadsheets and financial data, not just basic data entry
• Strong numerical capability and high attention to detail
• Confidence to pick up the phone and have professional conversations about outstanding payments
• Experience reconciling accounts and investigating discrepancies
• Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication
• A proactive approach — you won’t wait for an overdue account or discrepancy to resolve itself
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute within a small team environment
