Qualifications

• Experience in electrical services desirable, and servicing coffee machines is a bonus.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities for mechanical and electrical issues.
• Proficient with hand tools and diagnostic testing equipment.
• Good understanding of hydraulic and water systems and electrical components.
• Knowledge of spare parts and inventory management is advantageous.
• Excellent customer service and ability to explain technical information clearly.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality workmanship.

Jura Australia Espresso Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and reliable Coffee Machine Technician to join our growing technical team. This is a full-time position based in Hawthorn East, VIC.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose technical faults and perform repairs efficiently using diagnostic tools and technical manuals;
• Perform routine maintenance and preventative servicing to ensure machines operate at peak performance;
• Replace worn or faulty components including pumps, electronic parts and/or external machine parts;
• Responsibility for the care and use of workshop tools and equipment and ensuring they are returned to the correct place after use or at the end of the day;
• Keeping up to date with business-specific web business platforms and technical animation systems;
• Ensure work areas are clean, safe and well maintained;
• Manage, monitor and maintain technical knowledge of all past and current fully automatic coffee machines and services.

What we’re looking for

• Experience within the electrical services industry is highly desirable, and experience in servicing coffee machines would be an added bonus;
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues;
• Proficiency with hand tools, and diagnostic testing equipment;
• Sound understanding of hydraulic systems, electrical components and water systems;
• Sound knowledge of spare parts and some knowledge of inventory management would be advantageous;
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly;
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality workmanship;
• A team player having the ability to work well within a team, with a positive attitude is a must‑have.
