UKO is expanding in New South Wales and seeks an ambitious Community Manager to oversee the Shire Property Cluster. You’ll manage leasing end-to-end, cultivate resident relationships and drive occupancy, with accountability for conversion, occupancy and revenue targets.
Join UKO, a leading co-living and Build-to-Rent operator, to deliver exceptional resident experiences, events and community engagement from first enquiry through to move-in and beyond.
UKO is expanding, and we’re looking for an ambitious Community Manager to help manage the Shire Property Cluster. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in one of our most important property cluster developments, generating local demand, converting enquiries into residents, and delivering an exceptional leasing experience from first enquiry through to move-in.
This is an ideal role for someone who is performance-driven, independent and commercially minded, with a passion for building relationships and delivering results. It’s a great opportunity to build your career in the living sector, working with one of Australia’s leading co-living and Build-to-Rent operators.
This is not a support role. You'll run the leasing process end to end, from first enquiry through to move-in, with real accountability for occupancy and conversion. And because this is co-living, the relationship doesn't end at lease signing — you'll be a visible, trusted presence for residents throughout their stay.

What You'll DoOwn the leasing cycle — manage enquiries, run inspections, qualify and progress applications, negotiate and execute leases, and coordinate seamless move-ins. Conversion and speed-to-lease are your measures of success.
Drive occupancy and revenue — manage your own pipeline and prioritise activity against occupancy and revenue targets.
Build resident relationships — be a key point of contact from pre-arrival to departure, building the relationships that drive renewals, referrals and positive reviews.
Support community — help deliver the resident events and engagement that set UKO apart. A strong community is a full community.
Bring market insight — monitor demand, competitor activity and pricing, and feed your on-the-ground view into pricing and campaign decisions.
Experience in residential leasing, real estate, PBSA, BTR or co-living, with a record of converting enquiries into signed leases (2+ years preferred)
A current NSW Certificate of Registration or Class 2 Real Estate Licence — or willingness to obtain one quickly (we'll fund the course)

A genuine customer-service mindset — you enjoy dealing with residents and take pride in prompt, professional responses
Ambition to progress into property and community management
Structured career progression — we promote from within, with a defined pathway into Property & Community Manager roles
