Job description

UKO is growing and we are looking for a commercially driven Leasing & Property Manager to join our Melbourne team.

This is a hands-on role where leasing is your number one priority. You will take ownership of the entire leasing journey, from generating enquiries and conducting inspections through to securing residents, driving occupancy and maximising rental revenue.

We are looking for someone who combines the sales drive of a Leasing Manager with the operational expertise of a Property Manager. Someone who thrives on achieving targets, building relationships and delivering an exceptional resident experience.

Drive Leasing & Occupancy

Own the end-to-end leasing process, from enquiry and inspection through to signed lease and move-in.

Drive occupancy targets, maximise rental revenue and minimise vacancy.

Proactively manage leads, follow-ups and applications to convert enquiries into residents.

Conduct engaging property inspections and confidently negotiate lease terms.

Monitor competitor pricing, rental demand and market trends to identify leasing opportunities.

Work with marketing to generate leads, optimise listings and improve leasing conversion.

Manage Properties & Residents

Oversee day-to-day property operations, ensuring high standards of presentation and service.

Manage tenancy administration, renewals, rent reviews, inspections and rental arrears.

Coordinate apartment readiness, maintenance and move-ins with internal teams.

Build strong resident relationships that encourage renewals, referrals and positive reviews.

Support resident engagement and community events.

Ensure compliance with Victorian residential tenancy legislation.

What You'll Bring

2+ years' experience in residential leasing or property management, ideally within Build-to-Rent, co-living, student accommodation or traditional real estate.

A proven ability to lease apartments, convert enquiries and achieve occupancy targets.

Strong sales, negotiation and relationship-building skills.

A proactive, results-driven approach with excellent follow-up and organisational skills.

Commercial awareness of rental pricing, occupancy and revenue performance.

Experience managing residential tenancies and an understanding of Victorian tenancy legislation.

Confidence using property management software and CRM systems.

Eligibility to work as an Agent's Representative or licensed estate agent in Victoria.

Above all, you love leasing, take ownership of results and enjoy creating great places for people to live.
