Job summary

Smartway Engineering Services – Caboolture QLD is seeking a full-time CNC Machinist. The successful applicant will read engineering drawings, setup and operate CNC Lathe and Milling machines, run machining centres, and comply with safety and environmental standards.

Experience with CAD/CAM is advantageous, and forklift tickets are helpful. The role requires flexibility to assist across different machines as needed to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• . Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• . The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is essential
• . Ability to setup and operate CNC Lathe & Milling machines
• . Run, operate and program machining centres
• . Carry out all work observing all relevant safety, quality and environmental requirements.
