Amiga Engineering Pty Ltd in Victoria is a growing SME providing CNC machining, metal 3D printing, and fabrication in one location for Aerospace, Defence, Space, Medical, and more.

We seek an enthusiastic fitter/machinist with proven CNC experience to program, set and operate mills and lathes, with CAD/CAM experience and a readiness to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Australian citizen only, permanent role.

Qualifications

• Qualified fitter and turner with metalworking experience.
• Must have CAD/CAM experience and CNC programming skills.
• Experience in setting and operating CNC machines (mills and lathes).
• Strong understanding of technical drawings.
• Knowledge of Mazatrol/Heidenhain/Okuma/Fanuc controls is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up and operate metal CNC equipment.
• Carry out turning and milling operations to specified tolerances.
• Finish parts and inspect quality against drawings.
• Be able to perform all four processes as required.
