Job summary

Inter Industrial is seeking a positive, experienced CNC operator for the afternoon shift in Epping, Victoria. You will run the CNC production line, read shop drawings, and ensure high quality panel products while maintaining a clean, safe factory environment.

You will work to production targets, manage materials, follow work plans, and uphold OH&S policies. Forklift endorsement is preferred but not essential; temp-to-perm opportunities exist for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• Able to read working drawings and shop plans.
• Experience operating CNC routers or similar equipment.
• Experience in a panel manufacturing environment preferred.
• Forklift licence is preferred but not essential.
• Self-driven and able to meet tight deadlines and organise yourself and the team.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the CNC production line is run in a safe manner at all times.
• Maintaining a highly organised and clean factory environment.
• Maintaining high quality standards.
• Achieving and improving on production targets.
• Managing materials relating to your area.
• Manufacturing of panel products and related assemblies using various materials, hand tools and industrial equipment.
• Following work plans and keeping records.
• Adherence to OHS policies.
