Job summary

Inter Industrial is seeking a positive, experienced CNC operator for the afternoon shift in Epping, Victoria. You will run the CNC production line, read shop drawings, and ensure high quality panel products while maintaining a clean, safe factory environment.

You will work to production targets, manage materials, follow work plans, and uphold OH&S policies. Forklift endorsement is preferred but not essential; temp-to-perm opportunities exist for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• Able to read working drawings and shop plans.
• Experience operating CNC routers or similar equipment.
• Experience in a panel manufacturing environment preferred.
• Forklift licence is preferred but not essential.
• Self-driven and able to meet tight deadlines and organise yourself and the team.

Job description

Our Client located in Epping is a specialised manufacturer of high quality composite insulated panels.

The afternoon shift (12.30pm-8.30pm) currently requires a positive and experienced CNC operator.

Duties include:

Ensuring the CNC production line is run in a safe manner at all times

Maintaining a highly organised and clean factory environment

Maintaining high quality standards

Achieving and improving on production targets

Managing materials relating to your area

Manufacturing of panel products and related assemblies using various materials, hand tools, power tools and industrial equipment

Following work plans and keeping records

Adherence to OHS policies

Main requirements:

Self driven and able to work to tight deadlines and organise yourself and your team

Ability to read working drawings and shop plans

Experience usingCNC routers or similar

Experience in a panel manufacturing environment would be beneficial.

Forklift licence is preferred but not essential

Excellent communication skills and team attitude
