Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in mechanical engineering or CNC manufacturing environment.
• Advanced skills in CAD/CAM software, SolidWorks, CNC programming, Alphacam.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise CNC machining programs using CAM software to convert 3D models into G-code for manufacturing.
• Create and modify CAD/CAM models, toolpaths and manufacturing parameters to meet specifications.
• Select cutting tools, machining methods, feed rates and production parameters.
• Analyse drawings and specifications to determine suitable manufacturing processes.
• Support prototype and production components using CNC machining and manufacturing technologies.
• Perform quality inspections and dimensional verification of machined components.
• Investigate issues and implement corrective actions to improve quality and efficiency.
• Coordinate with customers, production and quality teams to meet project requirements.
