Job summary

Viva Leisure is seeking a dynamic Cluster Manager to lead and support multiple Club Lime locations in South Canberra. You will drive member experiences, lead teams, and collaborate with the Area Manager on launches, refurbishments and operational excellence.

The role is a permanent full-time position based in South Canberra with a focus on leadership, strategy, and delivering premium service to members and clubs.

SKILLS &QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with:

• Strong leadership capability with experience guidingmanagers and teams across multiple locations.
• Confident decision-making, problem-solving, andconflict-resolution skills in fast-paced environments.
• A commitment to operational excellence, processoptimisation, and maintaining high safety and presentationstandards.
• A deep understanding of customer experience, memberretention, and service delivery in a competitive fitnessmarket.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills,with the ability to build productive relationships.
• Proven experience planning and delivering projects such asrefurbishments, new club openings, or major operationalinitiatives.
• Adaptability, innovation, and a continuous improvementmindset, embracing new technologies and evolving businessneeds.
• Strong industry knowledge, including compliance, safetyprotocols, fitness programming, and equipment management.
• Financial acumen across budgeting, forecasting, costcontrol, and revenue optimisation.
• Demonstrated success achieving KPIs related to growth,performance, and member satisfaction.
• Experience mentoring, coaching, and developing teams,including succession planning and identifying futureleaders.
• Background in managing daily operations as well asnavigating change, challenges, or crises.
• Collaborative, values-driven behaviour with professionalismand integrity at the forefront.

Qualifications:

• Certificate III/IV or Diploma in Fitness (Desirable)

KEYRESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive financial performance by identifying membershipgrowth opportunities and supporting revenue and budgetoptimisation across all clubs.
• Lead an exceptional member experience through strong salescoaching, effective CRM management, and proactive handling ofenquiries, onboarding, and community engagement.
• Ensure operational excellence by maintaining high standardsof cleanliness, safety, equipment upkeep, policy compliance,and continuous improvement across all sites.
• Provide proactive people leadership, including recruiting,rostering, coaching, performance management, and developingfuture leaders within the cluster.
• Oversee fitness operations by supporting Personal Trainerswith onboarding and business growth, managing PT leadpipelines, and delivering high-quality Group Fitness offeringsthrough effective scheduling and instructor recruitment.
