Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role overseeing multiple properties.
• Experience in hotel industry is advantageous.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and reporting capabilities.
• Ability to influence decisions through commercial insights and business partnering.
• Experience with controls, governance and compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance across two hotel properties with accountability for financial operations and governance.
• Provide strategic financial leadership and business partnering to General Manager and leadership team.
• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and long-term plans.
• Analyse performance and recommend actions to improve profitability and efficiency.
• Present monthly results and insights to ownership representatives and senior stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and statutory obligations.
• Oversee month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations and reporting.
• Partner with department leaders to manage expenses and labour costs.
• Manage payroll oversight and workforce reporting, assessing financial risk.
• Collaborate with the Business Support Centre, auditors and external partners.
• Monitor cash flow, accounts payable and working capital.
