Job summary

Viva Leisure is seeking a dynamic Club Manager for Club Lime Rosebery in inner Sydney. Lead the team, drive member growth, and create a high-energy club culture while ensuring smooth operations and strong commercial performance.

You will inspire staff, deliver outstanding member experiences, and manage daily club activities, aiming to strengthen the Viva brand and achieve targets in a fast-paced fitness environment.

Qualifications

• Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong knowledge of and passion for the Fitness Industry.
• Experience in sales and customer service, ideally in fitness or retail.
• Demonstrated people management and team leadership experience.
• Proven sales aptitude with a results-driven mindset and ability to meet targets.
• Outstanding communication and leadership skills with the ability to engage members and staff.

Responsibilities

• Drive new member sign-ups, manage renewals, and improve member satisfaction and retention.
• Ensure high-quality service for all members and guests; handle complaints promptly.
• Maintain operational procedures; manage club administration, auditing and organization.
• Ensure activities, equipment, and facilities comply with health and safety standards.
• Recruit, train, schedule and manage in-club staff; maintain team performance.
• Plan local marketing campaigns and community events to boost visibility and memberships.
• Oversee development and scheduling of fitness programs and classes.

SKILLS &QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with:

• Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness toobtain)

• Proven ability to drive operational excellence throughstrong organisational and formal operational skills. Capableof managing multiple priorities effectively, with a proactivemindset, eagerness to learn, and agility in adapting toevolving business needs
• Ability to be a role model and live our Viva values, andbehaviours while being passionate about our brands. You willdemonstrate professionalism, respect, courtesy and support
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word,Excel, Outlook)

KEYRESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive new member sign-ups, manage renewals, and implementstrategies to enhance member satisfaction and retention
• Ensure all members and guests receive high-quality service;handle complaints and feedback promptly and professionally
• Maintain high standard of operational procedures. Manageadministration, auditing and organisation of the club, ensuringall areas are clean, safe, and fully operational
• Ensure all activities, equipment, and facilities complywith health and safety regulations and industry standards
• Recruit, train, schedule and manage in club staff; ensurehigh team performance and morale
• Plan and execute local marketing campaigns, communityengagement events, and promotions to increase visibility andattract new members
• Oversee the development and scheduling of fitness programsand classes, ensuring they meet member needs and industrytrends
