Job summary

Housing Choices Australia is seeking an experienced Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer to deliver the technical integration of Catherine House into our enterprise technology environment. The 12-month fixed-term role covers cloud, identity, network and endpoints migrations and works with internal teams and partners to ensure a secure, scalable solution.

You will lead migrations of Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, and related services, with a focus on governance and change management, documentation,

Qualifications

6+ years' experience in infrastructure, cloud engineering, systems integration or a comparable technical role.
Proven experience delivering Microsoft 365 and Entra ID tenant migration or consolidation activities
Relevant tertiary qualification in IT or related discipline or equivalent experience
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID and modern cloud technologies
Strong understanding of infrastructure migration, systems integration and project delivery principles
ITIL Foundations certification or practical experience in ITIL-aligned service management
Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, DNS, DHCP and TCP/IP networking

Responsibilities

Lead and deliver technology integration activities, supporting the migration of systems, infrastructure, applications and services into HCA's operating environment.
Plan and coordinate Microsoft 365, Azure, network, telephony and endpoint migrations, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption.
Collaborate with internal teams, vendors and external partners to manage dependencies, deliver project outcomes and support operational readiness.
Ensure technology solutions are secure, scalable and compliant, identifying and escalating risks while adhering to governance and change management processes.
Maintain technical documentation, support knowledge transfer and contribute to the continuous improvement of HCA's technology, cloud and infrastructure capabilities
