Job summary

Tax On Chain Pty is seeking an organised SMSF administrator to join our fast-growing boutique accounting team in Brisbane CBD. You'll handle SMSF setup, compliance paperwork, and client communications, with exposure to the wider accounting team.

This hands-on role offers a clear path to more responsibility as the team expands, with flexible working arrangements after probation, fully cloud-based systems, and a modern CBD office. We serve crypto clients alongside traditional assets.

Qualifications

• Previous administration experience in accounting, SMSF or financial services.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling confidential financial information.
• Clear, friendly written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue SMSF establishment documents and chase signed paperwork.
• Coordinate fund setups end to end, including registrations and bank account openings.
• Collate and track documents for annual fund accounting and independent audit.
• Liaise with clients, referral partners, service providers and auditors by phone and email, responding quickly and professionally.
• Maintain client records and our practice management systems.
• Support compliance processes, including document tracking and ASIC annual reviews.
• Assist with non-SMSF client administration and general client-service tasks.
• Support the wider team with day-to-day office administration.
