Job summary

Pax8 Australia is seeking a Solutions Engineer to help partners unlock cloud, security, and AI solutions across Melbourne and beyond. You’ll bridge technology and business value, delivering demos, guiding architecture discussions, and supporting proof-of-concepts in a fast-growing cloud marketplace.

This hybrid Melbourne-based role requires strong communication, a customer-first mindset, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

Demonstrated technical, solutions engineering, pre-sales, or consulting experience.
Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
One or more industry certifications such as Microsoft Fundamentals, Azure Fundamentals, CompTIA A+, Security+, or Network+.

Responsibilities

Partner with Channel Account Managers to deliver technical and commercial conversations.
Guide partners through cloud, security, continuity, productivity, and infrastructure opportunities.
Deliver engaging demonstrations that show real business outcomes and value.
Support PoCs and architecture discussions across diverse environments.
Act as a trusted SME for assigned solution portfolios.
Create technical resources and implementation guides for partner success.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve partner experiences.
