Pax8 Australia is seeking a Solutions Engineer to help MSPs unlock cloud, security, and AI solutions across Australia and NZ. You’ll sit at the intersection of technology, partner success, and innovation, growing with emerging tech and building deep expertise in cloud and AI solution areas.

The role blends technical pre‑sales with customer‑facing engagements, including demonstrations, PoC support, and architecture discussions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated technical, solutions engineering, pre‑sales, or consulting experience.
• A genuine passion for technology, cloud platforms, and continuous learning.
• The ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.
• Strong presentation and communication skills across technical and non‑technical audiences.
• A customer‑first mindset and a desire to create exceptional experiences.
• Confidence navigating unfamiliar environments and solving technical challenges.
• Experience collaborating with sales teams and external stakeholders.
• One or more industry certifications (e.g. Microsoft Fundamentals, Azure Fundamentals, CompTIA A+, Security+, or Network+).
• A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Channel Account Managers to deliver technical and commercial solution conversations.
• Guide partners through cloud, security, continuity, productivity, infrastructure, and OT opportunities.
• Deliver engaging demonstrations that show real business outcomes and value.
• Support proof‑of‑concept deployments and architecture discussions across diverse environments.
• Act as a trusted subject matter expert for assigned solution portfolios.
• Create technical resources, implementation guides, and educational content for partner success.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve partner experiences and accelerate adoption.
• Troubleshoot deployment challenges and help partners achieve successful outcomes.
