By partnering with the General Manager and Care Manager, you will drive audits, improve documentation, and mentor staff to uphold the Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory requirements, while sustaining accreditation readiness and resident

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing and current registration with AHPRA.
• Residential aged care experience with governance focus.
• Advanced clinical knowledge and assessment skills.
• Strong knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Experience in governance, audits and quality improvement.
• High-level documentation and clinical review skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal capability.
• Experience in accreditation or audit processes is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate clinical care against best practice, legislation and organisational standards.
• Conduct clinical audits across care plans, medications, wounds, falls and behaviours.
• Identify gaps in care and support improvement strategies.
• Monitor quality indicators and clinical outcomes.
• Review resident clinical records and support complex clinical assessments.

About The Opportunity:

Are you an experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in clinical governance, quality and compliance?

Respect is seeking a Clinical Quality & Compliance Coordinator t to join the team at Apex Road Residential Aged Care in Gunnedah, New South Wales.

This is a senior Registered Nurse position focused on supporting the delivery of safe, high-quality and person-centred care through strong clinical governance, continuous improvement and compliance practices. The role works under the direction of the General Manager and Care Manager and collaborates closely with the broader clinical team.

You will have the opportunity to maintain a strong clinical focus while supporting resident outcomes through clinical oversight, quality and risk management, staff capability and ensuring care systems and documentation meet the required standards.

About The Role:

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Bachelor of Nursing
• Current AHPRA registration
• Demonstrated experience in residential aged care
• Advanced clinical knowledge and assessment skills
• Strong understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards
• Experience in clinical governance, audits and quality improvement
• High-level documentation and clinical review skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal capability
• Confidence using Microsoft applications and clinical software systems.
• Experience in accreditation or audit processes, clinical education or mentoring, incident investigation and risk management will be highly regarded.

• Salary packaging — up to $15,900 per year for living expenses, plus a further $2,650 for meals and holiday accommodation
