Job summary

EML is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our Sydney CBD team on an 18-month max-term contract with hybrid work flexibility. You will oversee early management of workplace psychological injuries and provide expert clinical input to support claims teams in line with regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes collaboration with doctors, physiotherapists, and other health professionals to facilitate timely recovery and return to work.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in psychology.
3+ years clinical experience as a registered Clinical Psychologist.
Current registration in professional field (can be non-practicing).
Well established knowledge of disability and psychological injury management.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Comprehensive understanding of workers' compensation insurance highly regarded.

Responsibilities

Provide early intervention and management of workplace psychological injuries.
Conduct peer-to-peer discussions with Clinical Psychologists and GPs to assist them with clinical management and RTW outcomes.
Conduct case reviews and provide expert opinion on medical strategy.
Provide internal training and coaching to case managers on clinical management of psychological injuries.
