Job summary

Ruah Community Services in Northbridge, WA, is seeking a highly experienced Clinical Psychologist for a part-time 0.6 FTE role on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The position focuses on specialist assessment, formulation and evidence-based therapies within a trauma-informed multidisciplinary team.

You will provide supervision, contribute to service development and lead integrated care planning to support healing for women, children and families affected by domestic violence.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Clinical Psychology.
• Current AHPRA registration as a Clinical Psychologist.
• Eligibility to provide Board-approved supervision.
• Experience delivering therapeutic services within mental health, trauma and/or family and domestic violence settings.
• Strong assessment, formulation and intervention skills.
• Experience providing clinical leadership or supervision to practitioners.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Join Ruah's Karlup Healing Service and help create meaningful change for women, children and young people impacted by family and domestic violence. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will deliver specialist assessment, formulation and evidence-based therapeutic interventions within a trauma-informed, recovery-focused multidisciplinary team. You'll also provide clinical supervision and leadership to counsellors, contribute to service development, and support integrated approaches that promote healing, resilience and wellbeing. This is a rare opportunity to combine direct clinical practice with leadership in a respected specialist service dedicated to supporting recovery from trauma. Based in Northbridge, this part‑time role (3 days per week, 0.6 FTE) is offered as a 12‑month fixed‑term contract.

About the Role

Karlup is Ruah's integrated healing and recovery service supporting women, children and young people impacted by family and domestic violence.

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to provide specialist psychological assessment, formulation and evidence-based therapeutic interventions within a multidisciplinary, trauma-informed service. The role plays a critical part in supporting healing, recovery, emotional wellbeing and resilience for clients experiencing the impacts of trauma and violence.

Working closely with counsellors and other professionals, you will provide clinical leadership, supervision and consultation, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and support integrated approaches that recognise the interconnected impacts of violence on mental health, relationships, identity, parenting and child development.

This is a part-time position (0.6 FTE, 3 days per week) based in Northbridge and offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver specialist psychological assessments, formulations and therapeutic interventions
• Provide trauma-informed, evidence-based support to women, children and young people impacted by family and domestic violence
• Develop and review treatment plans that promote recovery and wellbeing

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A tertiary qualification in Clinical Psychology
• Current registration as a Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA
• Eligibility to provide Board-approved supervision
• Experience delivering therapeutic services within mental health, trauma and/or family and domestic violence settings
• Strong assessment, formulation and intervention skills
• Experience providing clinical leadership, supervision or mentoring to practitioners
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• The ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
