Job summary

Ruah's Karlup Healing Service in Northbridge, WA, seeks an experienced Clinical Psychologist to provide specialist assessment, formulation and evidence-based interventions within a trauma-informed, multidisciplinary team.

This part-time role (0.6 FTE, 3 days per week) offers clinical leadership, supervision of counsellors and involvement in service development, with a 12-month fixed-term contract, supporting recovery and wellbeing for women, children and young people affected by family and

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Clinical Psychology
  • Current registration as a Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA
  • Eligibility to provide Board-approved supervision
  • Experience delivering therapeutic services within mental health, trauma and/or family and domestic violence settings
  • Strong assessment, formulation and intervention skills
  • Experience providing clinical leadership, supervision or mentoring to practitioners
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Responsibilities

  • Deliver specialist psychological assessments, formulations and therapeutic interventions
  • Provide trauma-informed, evidence-based support to women, children and young people impacted by family and domestic violence
  • Develop and review treatment plans that promote recovery and wellbeing
  • Provide clinical supervision, mentoring and consultation to counselling staff
  • Support multidisciplinary case discussions and integrated care planning
  • Contribute to service development, clinical governance and continuous improvement activities
  • Promote culturally safe, inclusive and recovery-oriented practice
