Job summary

Eucalyptus seeks an experienced nurse leader to join our team, sitting at the intersection of clinical excellence, patient experience, and public advocacy in digital healthcare. You’ll lead our Sydney-based medical support team, setting clinical standards and supporting offshore teams, while embedding empathy in every patient journey and serving as final escalation for complex cases.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with AHPRA registration and 4+ years in a clinical, patient-facing role or operations.
• Proven experience leading a clinical/operations team, with performance management and development.
• Strong communication skills to navigate sensitive conversations with empathy and clarity.
• Solid clinical judgement as final escalation point for high-risk cases.
• Natural problem-solver focused on systemic improvements and scalable solutions.
• Interest in the intersection of technology and healthcare to improve patient outcomes.
• Public speaking and external representation of EUC’s clinical philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead Sydney-based medical support team to high clinical standards.
• Embed empathy in patient journeys, ensuring safe, clear, and supported experiences.
• Serve as escalation point for complex patient inquiries across HQ and offshore teams.
• Collaborate with clinical, operations and product teams to identify risks and improve processes.
• Contribute to clinical thought leadership and patient-centered content.
