Job summary

Doutta Galla Harmony Village in Footscray is seeking a Clinical Care Supervisor for night shifts (2200–0715) on a part-time parental leave cover to September 2027. Lead the clinical care team and deliver person-centered care to residents, upholding dignity and quality of life.

Reporting to the Resident Services Manager, you will oversee nursing care, care planning, and assessments, while coordinating with families and health professionals in a not-for-profit aged care setting.

Qualifications

• RN in Charge experience in a residential aged care home.
• Current AHPRA Registered Nurse DIV 1 with no conditions.
• Strong clinical knowledge in palliative care and dementia.
• Excellent interpersonal and written skills.
• Ability to lead staff and communicate with residents and health professionals.
• Positive and flexible attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical and specialized nursing care tailored to residents.
• Prioritise residents’ and families’ preferences and independence.
• Assist with AN-ACC reappraisals and assessments.
• Manage daily case reporting, care planning and addressing concerns.
• Conduct routine clinical assessments to identify gaps in care.

Join our dedicated team at Doutta Galla Harmony Village in Footscray, where every day is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference to the lives of residents.

This is a fixed term part-time opportunity for a Clinical Care Supervisor working Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 2200 - 0715 (both weeks) for a parental leave cover until September 2027.

In this role you will lead our clinical care team, delivering person-centered care that enhances the wellbeing, dignity, and quality of life for our residents.

The Role:

Reporting directly to the Resident Services Manager, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional clinical care services on night shifts at our Residential Aged Care Home in Footscray.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure comprehensive clinical and specialized nursing care is provided, documented, and tailored to each resident's needs
• Prioritise residents and their families in decision‑making, considering their preferences, independence, dignity, and identified care‑related risks
• Assist with AN-ACC reappraisals, including mandatory and voluntary assessments, as required
• Responsible for daily case reporting, care planning, and addressing patient concerns promptly
• Conduct routine clinical assessments to promptly identify and address any gaps in care.

Experience and Skills:

• Experience as an RN in Charge in a residential aged care home
• Dedication to resident care and support
• Excellent clinical knowledge regarding medical conditions, palliative care, and care of people living with dementia
• High level interpersonal and written skills
• A positive and flexible attitude
• Experience in managing and leading staffAbility to effectively communicate with residents, resident representatives and other health professionals
• Current AHPRA Registered Nurse DIV 1 registration with no conditions
